My love for dogs began long before Pomeranians entered my life. Growing up in the countryside, I was never without a loyal companion by my side. The most unforgettable of those early friends taught me something I’ve carried with me ever since.
They had a special quality I’ve always looked for in a dog: they made constant eye contact.
To me, a dog that holds your gaze is a dog trying to connect—to understand, to communicate, to bond. That eye contact signals intelligence, attentiveness, and a heart ready to love. It became the foundation of every meaningful relationship I’ve ever built with a dog.
